About our texts
Our text messaging program is called Buzzard Law Firm client texts. Buzzard Law Firm (728 S. Main St., Lillington, NC 27546) sends text messages from 910-893-2900 to people who have asked to hear from us by text: people who contact us about a legal matter, and our clients. We text about your inquiry and your case, such as appointment reminders, requests for documents, case updates and replies to your questions. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
How you agree to texts
You agree to receive texts when you check the text message box on our contact form, when you text our office first, or when you tell our staff that we may text you and they note it in your file. Agreeing to texts is never required to contact us or to hire the firm.
How often, and what it costs
Message frequency varies with your matter. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
How to stop or get help
Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from us. You will receive one final message confirming that you have opted out. Reply START to begin receiving texts again. Reply HELP for help, call us at 910-893-2900, or email info@buzzlawfirm.com.
Please don’t text confidential details
Text messages are not a secure way to share confidential information. Until an attorney–client relationship is established, please don’t send confidential details. Texting us does not by itself create an attorney–client relationship.
Carriers and privacy
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to any third party. See our Privacy Policy.
