Authorities team up to combat drug crimes

According to one local official, law enforcement are prioritizing cases involving drug trafficking as well as illegal gun possession. He said they are also placing special emphasis on organized crime in the area. 

Officers are stressing the risks involved with using drugs such as Fentanyl, which they say could have deadly consequences. Apparently, police are seeing more instances of Fentanyl-laced drugs. According to recent reports, 17 individuals have been arrested in the last two months and are facing more than 30 federal charges. Reportedly, eight of the individuals were charged with trafficking meth and fentanyl.
