Man arrested on drug charges after an investigation

Man charged following investigation 

Recently in Lincoln County, a 45-year-old man was reportedly arrested and charged following an investigation. Reports said police were alerted that illegal drugs were being sold in a Lincolnton business. Authorities said they started investigating after they received complaints about drug activity going in and out of the establishment. 

Narcotics officers claim they were able to purchase methamphetamine from the suspect at the business. Officers said they arrested the man at his home and seized controlled substances that they found in the man’s vehicle. Police said they arrested the man and charged him with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and other serious charges.
